Why So Many People Write at Starbucks — A Writer’s Path
Ah, how I love posts that explain why we do the things we do. I also love it when science backs up stuff that I say anyway – because y’all know that I’ve been telling you to get outside for years!
But Larry Kahaner’s post is fun to read because, yes, we’ve all been there. Sipping the mediocre coffee, feeling the mellow vibes, people watching, and writing our hearts out at Starbucks. It’s a universal writing experience – and there’s actually a reason for it! It helps our brain get out of a literal rut. I don’t know what I’d do without my days going out to write. If you don’t have a list of places where you feel comfortable enough to get creative, I’d suggest starting one. Try to visit at least one each week – as Larry says, even just changing location in your house can be beneficial.
But first, check out that post above. Like all the posts I reblog, it’s fun, it’s short, and it’s good info.
Happy writing!
