How Music Can Help Your Writing — A Writer’s Path

If you’ve been here awhile, you know I love music and I always advocate for listening to music while you write! Music is proven to put us in a better mood and enhance creativity. I listen to music every day as I work, and I’m always on the hunt for new playlists. Right now, I’m on a classical music kick.

But I love the idea brought up in this post: listening to a song and writing a scene around it. It’s a wonderful exercise that acts like a writing prompt, except even more imaginative. I know that I’m going to try it and I hope you will, too!
