No. 23/100 100-word short stories for my 100 follower celebration!

“So, what do you say?”

Solara gazed into wide brown eyes so large she thought she could swim in them if she wanted to. She trusted those eyes more than almost anything else—they were all she had ever known, ever since they had first spotted her trapped in the bramble of Venshall Grove.

With her strong but tiny wings keeping her suspended in the air, Solara cast her gaze over Miles’ backyard. Leaving her home was nearly unthinkable… But Miles’ eyes, still watching her, told her differently.

“I know you’ll keep me safe,” she finally replied. “I will go.”

. . .

Don’t forget that the LTUE writing event is tomorrow! I hope to see you there!

My neck hurts, y’all. Even though I’m careful to maintain good posture while working at my desk, my current desk chair simply doesn’t provide me with the support I need – but good desk chairs are expensive, and that’s why I need your help! Thank you so much for your support that allows me to keep producing free content. God bless you! ♥️ E.J.
