Get ready, everyone, because Life, the Universe, and Everything is about to fall into your lap. Right, so page back in your memories to 2021. A lot of events still cancelled because of Ye Olde Plague, everyone getting a lot of reading done, and even some dedicated introverts starting to miss their fellow nerds, pressing […]

Bookmarked Adventures: Free SF/F Writing Con! — BookmarkedOne

I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for conventions that have the word “free” in front of them. In the writing world, they’re rare. Courses are offered for hundreds or thousands of dollars and ordinary writing conferences aren’t much better. It always seems like you have to give up every last penny to learn how to become a better writer, which is a ludicrous concept to me. That’s why I run a blog that offers free resources and insight. With how much information is available to us today, we shouldn’t have to pay for it.

But, oftentimes, it is helpful to be taught directly by professionals and chat with other writers. That’s where writing conferences come in, and luckily, thanks to this lovely blog post I came across, I have two free ones coming up to present to you. They’re both totally online and totally free, meaning they’re accessible to anyone – yes, even you!

Don’t miss out on this opportunity, writers. Gaining invaluable knowledge from a free conference is the ultimate win, and looking at the lineup of panels for these conferences, I can already tell that they’re going to be packed full of great info.

For more information on how to sign up, click that link above to the blog post and read what BookmarkedOne has to say about these awesome conferences. The first one is this Saturday, so don’t wait. I hope to see you there! (Let me know in the comments if you’re attending so I can make sure to say hello!)

Happy writing!
-E.J.
