I’ve got a new WIP – and it’s not fiction.
For those of you worried about the fate of the elusive Project Pea, fear not! It’s still my primary focus. And for others who may be concerned about the sequel to The Dragon’s Den, once again, don’t worry! I’m giving it some time before I write the sequel so it’s slated for early next year.
So, what is this WIP?
If you’re signed up for my newsletter, you’ve already gotten a bit of an insider look at what I’m working on next. But also, if you’ve been around this blog for a while, you’ve actually already read some content from this book.
That’s right. My next book is a travel guide/memoir about my trip to the UK three years ago!
My two(ish) week trip to the UK was something I’d dreamed of my whole life. And while I’d travelled before – which you can read about here – my experience traveling all around the UK with my best friend was nothing short of magical. Not only was it a fun trip full of adventure and mishaps, but I also learned a lot about what it’s like to travel to the UK in a (very) small group, and I want to share some of the things I learned.
This isn’t your typical travel guide, though. Already, as I’m writing the book, it reads more like a fiction story as I recall the events leading up to the trip and the trip itself in full detail, including dialogue, descriptions, and my emotions. It’s the most personal thing I’ve ever written, but also one of the most fun things I’ve ever put my pen to! I can’t wait to share it with you, hopefully later this year if all goes well!
In the meantime, know that your support (likes, follows, comments, shares, reblogs, donations, and most importantly, book purchases!) keeps me going. Any little interaction gives me so much encouragement! Thanks to all of you who have supported me over the past couple years of this journey; I couldn’t do it without you!
And now, it’s time for me to delve back into UK memories (and 1,000+ pictures). Happy writing!

Why do I ask for donations? This money all goes towards helping me pay for marketing, book services (editing, cover art, etc.), learning opportunities, and writing-related subscriptions that I have to purchase myself due to being an indie author and a blogger who posts tons of resources and stories for free. Every dollar counts! Thank you so much, and God bless you. ♥️ E.J.
