Fog
No. 12/100 100-word short stories for my 100 follower celebration!
I gazed out at the world—or what should have been the world, had it not been hidden behind a thick curtain of fog. Fog such as this was alien to me, fog that seemed to have life and breath, that moved with purpose and completely shrouded the world from view. From where I stood, the world ended in 100 feet. It barred my path and confounded me as I tried to make sense of my directions.
But when I raised my eyes, the world opened up before me as the fog ascended into the sky, continuing on its journey.

This is actually a memory from my time in the UK; if you enjoy reading about my travels, take a look at these posts!
