6 Ways To Improve Your Writing — Douglas W.T. Smith

Anyone else have issues writing ridiculously long sentences? Every single time I put my writing into Grammarly, no matter how hard I try, it always says I have considerably longer than average sentence length. I’m just a long sentence kind of person, but sometimes, that can be a bad thing.

Considering the subject matter, it’s very fitting that Smith’s post is concise – something I know we all appreciate in our busy lives. It’s a very quick read, but packed full of important tips on how to improve the readability of your writing. I tend to talk a lot about storytelling, but if you have the best story in the world written with overly long and confusing sentences, none of the beautiful storytelling elements will come across…
