THIS IS OUR TOWN – 3 MIN SHORT STORY/POEM – PROSE AND POSE
This little short story really captured me this week. Not only do I love the word painting, the way it can conjure such a perfect image in your mind, but I also love the concept of describing a place that’s so familiar to you in such a unique way.
How often do we walk down the street and not see anything around us? What if we always took the time to drink in the sights and the sounds, the little things that we so often overlook?
What would we feel, then? What would we create?
This week, I want to challenge you to experience your familiar surroundings in a new way. Take the time to really see them, and not just walk by. Then, write about it!
I can’t wait to see what you do.
Happy writing!
